Red faces=circumcision

In this tribe, When a young man turns 17, it is time to become a man.  They have their fore skin cut off and then they spend 1 week alone in the bush.  They can show no pain.  Then for 3 months they paint their faces red with make up, wear this suit and hat.  Then they are considered a man.  They move out of the house, build a lean-to onto there parents house and life starts as a man.  This guy is the 2nd counselor in the Motherwell Branch.  The other one is just off the street.  They are everywhere.
